Another new facility is now open for business in Evansville.
Fit Tight Covers, a division of Gribbins Specialty Group, unveiled its new Evansville headquarters on Wednesday at 1200 N Willow Road Suite 100.
On-hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony held Wednesday to unveil the new facility was Jim Gribbins, President and Founder; Brian Willett, Executive Vice President; Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke; and the Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s EREP Associates, as well as many members of the Gribbins Specialty Group team.
According to President Gribbins, the launch of the new facility was heavily delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the time finally felt right.
"It's been delayed from the pandemic for 9 months, so we finally feel like we're good to go. You had to wonder if it was ever going to happen," President Gribbin told 44News. "In the last few months, we saw things looking up and made the decision to go ahead and go forward with this, and I think we did the right thing. And we certainly picked a good day."
The headquarters is a $2 million investment in the Evansville community and is the workspace of approximately 20 employees.
