Cheesecake Factory is bringing its novella-length menu to Huntsville.
The upscale casual restaurant chain will open a location at Bridge Street Towne Centre.
A Bridge Street Town Centre rep tells AL.com more details will be released next week.
Signature items from the Cheesecake Factory menu, comprised of more than 250 selections, all made from scratch, include: Cajun jambalaya pasta, shepherd’s pie, chicken taquitos and Asian chicken salad. The restaurant is also known for its “brown bread,” aka whole wheat baguettes.
And of course there are cheesecakes. According to the restaurant’s website, there are more than 50 signature cheesecakes available, with flavors like pineapple upside-down, salted caramel and mango key lime. A 2017 Thrillist piece ranked the fresh strawberry cheesecake as Cheesecake Factory’s best.
The first Cheesecake Factory opened in 1978 in Beverly Hills, Calif. as The Cheesecake Factory Bakery. Founder Evelyn Overton got her start in Detroit baking cakes out of her home kitchen for local restaurants there.
There are now around 200 Cheese Factory locations in the U.S. The only other Alabama location at this time is in Birmingham at The Summit outdoor shopping center.
