ACCORD, N.Y. — SUNY Ulster’s women’s soccer team battled the Fashion Institute of Technology to a 1-1 double overtime tie Saturday afternoon at Rondout Valley High.
Elexis Smykla scored the Senators’ lone goal converting from a penalty shot.
“It was a hard-fought game,” SUNY Ulster coach Geraldo Martinez said.
The Senators (1-1-1) host the Borough of Manhattan Community College at 4 p.m. Tuesday on the SUNY Ulster
campus.
