Wonder Lofts, the upscale condominium conversion of Hoboken’s historic Wonder Bread factory, built circa 1909, officially launched sales, delivering one of the most unique and luxurious housing experiences on New Jersey’s Hudson River Gold Coast.

Prism Capital Partners, which developed the community in partnership with Angelo Gordon and Parkwood Development, announced the availability on Oct. 13.

Located at 720 Clinton St., Wonder Lofts places residents in the heart of Hoboken, bringing within easy reach all that the dynamic, family-friendly hamlet on the Hudson River is known for.

The landmark property debuted with an on-site sales gallery and fully furnished models styled by Serena & Lily’s team of design advisors. The models display how Wonder Lofts separates itself in the Hudson County market by blending large homes with interior and outdoor spaces.

In conjunction with the sales opening, which comes after an overwhelmingly successful preview period that resulted in 40% of the homes sold, a full website has launched where prospective buyers can schedule a private tour of the building’s model homes.

Envisioned as the residential successor to one of Hoboken’s most recognizable and historically significant sites, Wonder Lofts was restored and designed with a focus on style, comfort and room for growth. The offering features a collection of 83 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom floor plans with 1,200 square feet to 2,700 square feet of living space.

Every home includes a parking space in the secured onsite garage and significant private outdoor space ranging up to 1,900 square feet. Many of the outdoor spaces feature views of the Manhattan skyline.

“This is one of the most highly-anticipated residential sales openings on the New Jersey Gold Coast in recent memory,” said Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president – Residential of Prism Capital Partners. “Interest has been high from buyers on both sides of the Hudson River, particularly those who originally set their sights on townhomes and brownstones and were excited to find they could receive a comparable amount of living space at Wonder Lofts while also enjoying modern amenities, considerable outdoor space and historic charm.”

Prior to its conversion, American classic Wonder Bread was made at the factory during the 1950s and 1960s. The building was renovated to preserve and restore its original brick detail, archways, high ceilings, large window openings, smokestack and water tower. Dramatically reimagined for residential use, the conversion also showcases such modern additions as a façade of glass and light grey aluminum that accentuate the restored original structure.

The community also includes a newly constructed five-story building located across the street that is home to 15 of the residences.

Living at Wonder Lofts includes enjoying 14,400 square feet of shared indoor and outdoor amenities for an elevated lifestyle. The highest rooftop – with its 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline, all of Hoboken and beyond – is a landscaped patio lounge featuring an infinity-edge swimming pool with lounge chairs, a circular outdoor bar underneath the restored water tower, gas barbeque grills, and abundant dining and lounge seating areas with a fire pit.

An indoor residents’ lounge on the second floor features a large living room that opens to a landscaped, outdoor terraced patio and garden with seating areas. A floor-to-ceiling brick, double-faced fireplace separates the living room from an open concept dining room and entertainment kitchen, and an adjacent billiards and game room.

Homes at Wonder Lofts are priced from $1.2 million for two-bedroom residences, $1.57 million for three-bedroom homes, $2 million for four-bedroom floor plans and $2.39 million for five-bedroom homes, with initial occupancy scheduled for late 2021.
