After my convo last week with Henning Langer, one of the guys behind WOD Science, and Jonathan Fader, a performance psychologist with SportStrata, I’m feeling more mentally tough but not that fit overall. I have one component of fitness left to cover -- flexibility -- so today I’m speaking with Tom Merrick aka the Bodyweight Warrior.
I’ve been following Merrick for two years, ever since I started using his programming for the middle splits. I’m now about an inch above the ground, and of all the trainers I’ve discovered, I like Merrick best. He’s got videos for every level of experience, ones that answer common questions, tutorials you can follow along to, and even primers on basic movements, like the dip. Best of all, there’s none of the macho bullshit present with a lot of other fitness personalities.
