The regular season winds down this week at the Wyndham Championship.
Jobs are secure for next season so there is a little less stress on the shoulders of those outside the bubble, compared to a normal season finale. Still, it is the last week to play your way into the Playoffs.
In article one of this new weekly series, I am going to put a focus on course fit and how we can use course fit to help us build out our FanDuel lineups.
Bermudagrass Greens
We return to the Southeast this week which means bermudagrass for turf. Here are the top-15 golfers when looking at performance on bermuda since the start of 2018.

Lewis ($9,200) is an interesting name from the list above. He's been so consistent on bermuda, posting top-20 worthy performances in more than 50% of his worldwide starts on bermuda since the start of 2018. The only golfers with a higher ratio in this week's field are Webb Simpson and Tommy Fleetwood.
Less-than-Driver Courses
TPC Harding Park allowed golfers to unleash the big stick, or the Kraken in Bryson's case. However, Sedgefield Country Club is going to limit the driver usage a bit. We saw an extreme example in 2017 when Henrik Stenson won this event without hitting a single driver. Let's see who plays well on similar style of courses:

Koepka ($12,200) is an interesting name because he usually plays aggressive off the tee. When I think of Koepka on less-than-driver courses, I generally think of him finding holes where he can use his length while others lay back. He's also gained 14.4 strokes on approach over his last two starts so it's very possible that he can just focus on getting the ball in the fairway and play his way into contention solely with his irons this week.
FanDuel Focus
Henrik Norlander ($8,800): The Swede has quietly been one of the best golfers on TOUR since the restart. He missed the cut at Colonial but since then he is 5-for-5 including a T12 in Detroit and a T6 at the Memorial. He's been T40 or better thru 54 holes in each of his last five starts. He has four career top 10s, two at the RSM, one at the Memorial, and one at the Sony Open. All of those are events where you don't need to pound drivers. I thin Norlander presents himself as a good salary saver this week on FanDuel.
Webb Simpson ($11,900): After you've save some salary from Norlander, you'll have some dough to spend up for a star. Simpson shows up as a good option, especially back on bermudagrass. "I love bermuda greens. Bermuda nowadays runs so well. It feels nice being on bermuda." That's something he said back in 2018 at Sea Island but it applies here as well. Simpson is a Carolina guy through and through so he's going to be one of the most comfortable with the conditions this week.
